My name is Alejandra Raftacco. I was born in Argentina, I graduated from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in Argentina in 1989 and then moved to Costa Rica. In 2001, I graduated from Universidad Nacional Costa Rica and later moved to the U.S. I graduated from National Institute of Orthodontics in 2002 and Miami University in 2009, specializing in implantology and rehabilitation. I am also certified in the administration of local anesthesia. I have been a practicing dentistry since 1990, with my specialty being oral rehabilitation, periodontal surgery, and all general treatments.
I am affiliated with professional organizations such as A.D.A, F.D.A, and dental college of surgery Costa Rica. I hold a certificate in full mouth odontology. At the age of 8, I shared with my mother my desire to become a dentist, and since then, it has been my passion. My philosophy for dental care is centered around providing top-quality care to my patients while dedicating enough time to explain everything to them. I believe that taking my time to make sure every patient understands their treatment and gains knowledge about oral health is key to their overall well-being. When I’m not practicing dentistry, I enjoy working out, reading books, and spending quality time with my family.
